Glide In

Glide In is a minimalist physics-based shooting puzzle game that looks simple at first glance but quickly shows a surprising level of challenge. Your goal is straightforward: throw a puck into the hole using one single shot. Each level is beautifully created to challenge your precision, strategy and patience, with any slight error in calculation pushing you to restart.

Highlight Game Features

  • One-shot gameplay — Each level offers only one attempt, making every move count
  • Gradual challenge - The stages begin with an easy level and add greater obstacles and risks as they get deeper.
  • Simple, uncluttered graphics that maintain the emphasis on timing and skill
  • Innovative barriers- Red zones, gaps and obstructions make you consider first before shooting
  • Hundreds of levels - Plenty of stages to challenge your accuracy and consistency

How to Play Glide In?

To take a shot, click and drag to aim, then release to send the puck sliding forward. Sometimes, the puck will not roll in a straight line; it will touch the walls and the bounces will usually be just what you want to get to the hole. The inability to hit the hole by the puck results in a loss of a heart.. Lose all your hearts, and the level begins again. You can only have one attempt to launch and so, guessing or rushing is likely to result in failure.

As you advance farther into the game, levels grow increasingly hard. Obstacles require you to think in angles, not straight lines. You can only attack the puck properly when you plan on how your puck will ricochet rather than how hard you pass your puck. Glide In compensates patience and accuracy. Pause, place the shot and believe the law of a bounce that is meant to be more successful than a straight straight shot.

Tips to Win Glide In

  • Aim before you shoot: Since you only get one shot per level, take a moment to analyze the layout before releasing the puck.
  • Bounce off the walls: The puck may bounce off and consequently skewed shots may be more successful than straight ones.
  • Control your power: You may pull too hard and the puck may fly out of the hole. Shots that are precise and delicate are typically safer.
  • Think one step ahead: Imagine where the puck will land after each bounce before you shoot.

Glide In shows that a fundamental premise can be a very interesting and gratifying challenge. With its one-shot rule and smartly crafted levels, the game encourages critical thinking and precision over fast reactions. If you appreciate sleek, focused puzzle games that keep you going back for “just one more try,” Glide In is definitely worth your time.
