Subway Surfers Osaka

In a neon-filled update for Japan, you can now play Subway Surfers Osaka online.

Osaka is the 199th World Tour update for Subway Surfers. It came out on April 23, 2025. It's the sixth update of 2025 and the first time the show has publicly been to Osaka. There are two new Osaka surfers in this edition: Oni Hime and Saru. There is also new material like new clothes, boards, challenges, and music. The 16th World Tour is taking place in Asia, and Osaka is the second city in Japan after Tokyo. It has a strong regional focus, with events and prizes that are tied to the seasons.

With the change, you can now play as Oni Hime and Saru. Thunder gets a new outfit for Urban Hero, and Saru gets a new outfit for Kyaputen. The Trespasser (with Super Jump and Smooth Drift upgrades), the Mizu Dash (with Super Speed upgrades), and the Zapline are the three new boards with an Osaka theme. This time, the Season Hunt ticket is the Koi (Osaka 2025 ticket). For some players, this update also brings version 4.0 and the Surfers Pass system, which takes the place of the Season Hunt style.

What the Player Must Do

  • Try to run as far as you can.
  • Do not run into trains or walls.
  • Gather coins
  • Finish your tasks
  • Beat your best score.
  • Get new riders and boards.

The speed keeps going up. You have to work harder as time goes on. If you make a mistake, the run is over, unless you saved a hoverboard.

How to Get Better Scores

  • When you can, stay in the middle lane.
  • Do not do a lot of lane changes quickly.
  • Hoverboards should only be used in messy areas.
  • Early upgrade of coin magnet
  • Do tasks to level up faster.

The method is the same in Subway Surfers Osaka. You can run through a new city. The same stress. The same chase. As you try to beat your previous score, there will be more neon and cherry flowers.
